  29. IIRC, the term had not been coined and in usage prior to its
  30. application to the CDC 6600, generally ackowledged as the
  31. first supercomputer...

  33. Granted, it may well have been faster in relation to the
  34. other hardware of the day to deserve the moniker, but it
  35. still seems somewhat revisionist to apply the term to a
  36. machine that early...
